Husband & wife custom knife makers Sydney and Ben work together in Charleston SC to make unique one-off individual custom knifes. We have owned a Burls and Steel 6″ hand forged knife since 2018 and it’s a delight to use, so sharp, comfortable and light – we honestly use it daily and the marble steel has developed a rich patina. Over the years Ben and Sydney have honed their craft  and their new knives are more refined than our early example of their work that we own and photographed here.  It’s a joy to watch them evolve and grow – if you are looking for a rare, one of a kind, work of art knife that is a real joy to cook with, look no further.
