At Design Trifecta, we pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of our 360 Knife Block™ products. We understand that sometimes a return may be necessary, and we strive to make this process as seamless as possible for our customers.

Care and Maintenance

Before considering a return, we encourage you to follow our care and maintenance guidelines to preserve the quality of your 360 Knife Block™. Proper care can often resolve issues that may initially seem like product flaws.

  • Cleaning: Wipe your 360 Knife Block™ with a slightly damp rag, dry thoroughly, and periodically replenish with any food-safe mineral oil.
  • Knife Storage: Dry your knives before storing. Water trapped between the metal blades and wood can cause rusting and create black spots due to the reaction between the wood’s natural tannins and the metal.
  • Dealing with Black Spots: In the event your block develops black spots, an effective solution is available. We recommend using Rubiomonocoat’s Tannin Remover. This product has been proven to effectively remove black spots from wood. For guidance, please watch the instructional video by Rubio.

Returns

We welcome returns of the 360 Knife Block™ in its original packaging, with no time limit. We believe each 360 Knife Block™ should be in a home that truly appreciates its craftsmanship.

  • Packaging: Please return the product in the original custom-made foam, peanuts, and box, which are essential for its safe transit. The 360 Knife Block™ weighs 14 pounds, and its unique design requires careful packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
  • Shipping Costs: Outgoing shipping costs are included in our price. However, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. To arrange a return, simply email Sara at [email protected], and we will provide you with a UPS ground return shipping label.
  • Damaged Products: If your block is damaged during shipping (including by Amazon fulfillment), we will gladly replace it. Please contact Sara to arrange for a replacement.

Exchanges

We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your 360 Knife Block™ for the same item, please email us at [email protected].
