Materials Used in Our 360 Knife Block™ Products

We use a marine grade MDF core material (specifically Armorite exterior wood products made by Roseburg) custom laid with solid wood veneers for a real wood face on a strong and stable core. By using sheet materials we ensure a consistent color woods, optimal yield and the best use of our precious wood resources.

Available in Bamboo, American Walnut and limited edition exotic woods all milled for us by Mt. Baker Products in Bellingham and distributed by Forest Service Products in Tacoma Washington.

All woods are hand-finished in a food safe “Good Stuff” finish and can be replenished with any mineral oil.

Care and Maintenance of Your 360 Knife Block™ Products

Wipe clean with a slightly damp rag, rub dry, and replenish with any food safe mineral oil.

Dry your knives. Water trapped between our metal blades and wood can cause a reaction between the wood’s metal (rusting your knives) and creating black spots where the metal reacts with the wood’s natural tannins.

In the event your block develops black spots there is an easy way to remove spots from wood thanks to a product made by Rubiomonocoat – Tannin Remover – buy black spot remover and watch video by Rubio
